Experience. Exposure. Memories.

was-bizcard-600”People talk about skating, puck handling and shooting, but the whole sport is angles and caroms, forgetting the straight direction the puck is going, calculating where it will be directed, factoring in all the interruptions. Basically, my whole game is angles.” - Wayne Gretzky

Washington All-Star Players gain invaluable experience, playing intense games against other top players from across North America.  These competitive game situations, versus cone drills at other programs and camps in the spring, give our players the edge over their peers. Our players benefit from exposure to hockey scouts and coaches often found at elite tournaments and not found at your neighborhood rink practice. Most Importantly our players build lasting memories and friendships with other All-Stars they do not get an opportunity to play with during the regular season.

Founded in 2007, we strive to offer an unmatched value in our spring program, while offering some of the lowest fees in the country.  Our teams have captured NINE championships with SEVEN different birth year teams, proving that our talented hockey players can compete with those 'stacked' hockey clubs.

Historically we have fielded only AAA teams.  Due to demand and the success of capturing our first AA title in 2011, we will now look to field multiple teams at every birth year including AAA, AA, and A.   AA and A teams will generally be split similar to Minor and Major birth year teams.  We use a farm team system, so it is possible for players to move up from A to AA to AAA for one or more games during the spring season.

In 2011, we fielded 16 teams from mite to U19, with over 250+ top players representing 30+ hockey clubs. We welcome players and coaches from any club with the skill and desire to play at the most competitive level possible. We accept players based on skill and desire to play competitive hockey.

The elite tournaments we enter promote that many NHL, Junior, and college players once played in their event, so you might just see the next Sidney Crosby. The talent at these tournaments is simply the best of the best, as they too are comprised of elite off-season players from all over North America. Scouts are often in attendance and participation can especially benefit players in older age groups by increasing player exposure to coaches and scouts who can assist with further hockey playing and educational opportunities.

If you love ice hockey, want to improve your game, and feel you are at an elite competitive level, we welcome you to register for your age group so our coaches can evaluate your application. Our coaches and scouts may verify applicants abilities through observation during a game, practice, and/or via coaching recommendations. In addition, birth year teams may also hold an additional tryout at the coaches discretion.

We constantly strive to provide qualified coaches and assistant coaches at every birth year. If you are qualified and are interested in a coaching position, please let us know.  If you have questions, please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
