Fredrik Nygren is one of the premier hockey instructors in the Mid-Atlantic region, coaching several Team Maryland AAA teams.  His intense Swedish style of coaching and instruction will certainly provide all our players a great opportunity to learn the game of hockey from a European perspective.  Fredrik also provides private instruction during the regular hockey season to both youth hockey players in our region and NHL players alike.  He has frequently trained, one-on-one, with NHL great- Michael Nylander and others. Fredrik started his coaching career in 2002 in Stockholm. Since that he has coached at a high level within the Swedish youth program and has developed his talents as a master skills instructor. Fredrik sums his hockey philosophy up as “Hockey with high speed and individual skills, where the individual skill development and endurance are the primary focus with the aim to develop the collective team.”
